The use of HDPE pipe means assemblies can be prefabricated using the butt welding technique and installed on site using electro-weld sleeve couplings.  This reduces installation time and ensures that the best possible permanently sealed pipeline can be achieved.

The range of Geberit Pluvia outlets are capable of draining between 4.5l/s and 25l/s.

Syphonic Action

When the water passes from the horizontal pipe to the vertical pipe the velocity of flow increases considerably resulting in a syphonic action that sucks the water from the horizontal pipe.  The water column breaks off when air enters then the action starts again. In heavy rainfall the syphonic effect increases in the build up speed until the system runs continuous at full bore. The high flow speeds caused by this action also ensure that the system is self cleaning which reduces maintenance.

Advanced Roof Drainage Technology

The syphonic roof drainage system is widely used in the industrial and commercial applications such as factories, airport terminals, supermarkets and sports stadiumssector for all roof areas larger that 100 square meters, and buildings higher than 4 meters, including flat roofs or normal pitched roofs also including domed and arched-shaped  roofs of various curvatures.
